“BISLE Ghat Sakleshpura GLORIOUS RAIN FOREST”, Misty hills, drizzling clouds, green everywhere, the best place to get all these at a time is Bisle Ghats. Bisle is a reserve forest along the border of Hassan and Dakshina Kannada districts of Karnataka. Bisle Ghat is the best destination of Karnataka and is rewarded as ‘heaven on the earth’. Bisle Ghat is stretch of beautiful adventurous spot between Kukke Subrahmanya and Sakleshpura. The forest is dense and deep and have lot of lush vegetation. The 30km stretch passes through the reserve forest. The village at the start of the reserve forest is also known by the name of Bisle.
Bisle view point near Bisle Ghat (5 Km from Bisle village) offers you the magnificent view of the three mountain ranges – Yenikallu Betta (Hassan district), Doddabetta and Pushpagiri (Kodagu district) and Kumaraparvatha (Dakshina Kannada district). A lot of mountains and forest can be viewed from here.

By Bus: From Bangalore there are frequent buses (KSRTC) to Sakaleshpura. From Sakaleshpura there are only two service, one in the morning around 8:00 AM and one in the noon around 2:30 PM. Along with the direct buses there are other buses to Kudurasthe which is 13 km away from Bisle from Sakaleshpura. From Kudurasthe private jeeps will take you to Bisle.
By Train: The railway station nearest to Bisle is that of Sakaleshpura and another station is Subramanya Railway station (13km away from Bisle).
By Flight: The closest airport is Mangalore International Airport.
By Cab/Car: If you are traveling via car from Bangalore then it would take approximately 5 hour(s) 19 min(s); for you to reach Bisle Ghat.The road distance or driving distance between Bangalore and Bisle Ghat Road is 287 kms.
